Project Description

MedProGas are currently completing the installation after design development phase of work at project Connect. Installation commenced early 2024 to include specialist laboratory gases (Helium / Nitrogen / CO2 / Carbogen and Vacuum Systems) to new World Class Research and Development Centre.

This new project comprises of the the construction of a 13,000m2, 6 Storey building above ground and 2 storey below ground for the Royal College of Surgeons on St. Stephen's Green in Dublin.

The final development will consist of the construction of a building of varying heights from five to eight storeys (including setbacks) (with roof top plant) of 10,339 sqm gross floor area (including roof top plant of 74 sqm) over lower ground floor (1,420 sqm) and basement (1,585 sqm) levels.

MedProgas (as sitting lab gas specialist for RCSI) were engaged by the Client /Team directly on a design build basis. 1st fix installation completed October 2024, with 2nd fix to re-commence March 2025 following installation of Lab furniture (by fit out contractor).
